REQUIREMENTS FOR ARTICLES

Dear authors! The article should contain all the elements required by the Accreditation Commission of Ukraine (State of the problem, Analysis of publications on the topic research, formulation of aims of the  article; main part of the article, conclusions and recommendations for further research).

To fulfill the requirements of formatting of the article you should use the template sys_tech.dot , which provides the styles of the article and uses the font SchoolBookCTT font.zip.

To set the font please follow the instructions:

1) unzip the file with fonts;

2) go to "Start" - "Settings" - "Control Panel" - "Fonts";

3) "File" - "Install New Font" - "Specify the path to the file with fonts."

To use the template you should:

1) copy the template file in the templates folder (along with normal.dot) or into the working folder;

2) create a new document using the item "File" item "Create ..." by template sys_tech.dot .

Template contains the following styles:

Style name
Apply for a paragraph that contains
udk UDC
autor list of authors
Title 1 title of the article
Title 2 title of the section of the article (introduction, conclusions, etc)
Title 3 a title of subsection of the article
Plain text of the article
pic picture and the legend under the picture
tab title of the table
tab_name a table
equ formula. Formulas are entered in the following way:  tab character, the formula, tab character, the equation number in parentheses
Lit heading the list of references
lititem item in the list of references
refer the text of the abstract, annotation, and keywords

Template contains styles (sets of settings) for all elements of the article (pictures, tables, headings, formulas), and allow not to format the text manually and choose the style from the list.

WARNING! Do not make any changes (margins, font, etc.) in the existing styles or add new styles to your template!


General style parameters

Page Setup - A4 (orientation - portrait), all margins 2.5 cm Font - SchoolBookCTT 13 pt. Paragraph - 1.25 cm, line spacing - 1.3, alignment - the width.

Abstract. Placed after the title of the article, is written on the language of the article. The text of no more than 50 - 100 words, alignment - width, font 12 pt, style - refer.

Keywords. Placed after abstracts  in language of the article. The text of no more than 5 - 8 words, alignment - width, font 12 pt, style - refer.

Formulas. Formulas should be dialed using the Equation Editor: MS Equation (version 3.0 and above) or MathType (version 4.0 and above) with the following parameters font size: normal symbol - 13 pt, large index - 10 pt, shallow index - 8 pt, large symbol - 14 pt, shallow character - 11 pt. Direct typed in bold denote vectors and matrices; Greek characters, trigonometric functions, variables and other functions are typed in italics.

Pictures. Figures should be inserted in the text wrap "top and bottom". Using floating position of figure placement is prohibited.

WARNING! DO NOT use in article drawing tools MS Word, insert "Text Box" and other items with  floating position!

Literature. References are in compliance with Accreditation Commission of Ukraine.

Information about the Authors. Should be presented on a separate page at the end of the article and include surname, name and middle name, position and organization, which the author represents.

Essays. Should be given in 3 languages (Russian, Ukrainian, English) and placed on a separate page at the end of the article. In essay you first put UDC, on the next line name of the author and title. On the next line summary of article presented in volume not more than 100 words. On the next line put the number of references and figures.

Zelentsov D.G. New models for solving the problem of weight optimization of corroding elements / / System technologies. Regional interuniversity compendium. - Issue? (?). - Dnipropetrovsk, 2010. - P.? -?.

Various mathematical models for solving the problems of weight optimization of beam structures subjected to corrosion. A new mathematical model of optimization problem of corroding beams is proposed in this paper. It involves the solution of the problem without aggressive environment for the generalized objective function, which includes perimeter section, followed by an increase in the optimal parameters by an amount that compensates for corrosion. Also was shown the possibility of using of this model for beams with arbitrary cross section shape.
